What every UPSC aspirant needs to understand?
## History is not same.
Each upsc aspirant “did” something before graduation. All aspirants are usually 21-22 when they graduate.
So, in game of UPSC what you did in last 10-15 years also counts.
♢ If you were strong in arithmetic calculations, liked solving puzzles, etc. then it will be helpful to you in CSAT paper.
♢ If you are an avid reader & have been in habit of reading newspaper since very early age then it is an edge. As in my case, I started reading newspaper when I was in 6th. I read Amar Ujala till 12th. In graduation I switched to The Hindu.
♢ I wrote 1K + blog posts in graduation. So, there is a continuos flow in writing.
So, what matters is what all you did from adolescent to filing up the exam form.
Some have good speaking & writing skills in Hindi or English. Is that the result of 1 year preparation for UPSC? No. It goes back to one’s hard-work from primary to secondary-level.
Similarly, what one did in graduation also counts (serious study or SIRF MASTI).
The point I wish to make is that “the level of all aspirants is not same”. Hence, all aspirants need to have their own strategy based upon their strengths & weaknesses.
