Why President is an intergal part of the Parliament?

Why President is an intergal part of the Parliament?

Parliament is a legislative organ of the GoI (Government of India).
It consists of the President, Rajya Sabha & the Lok Sabha

Rajya Sabha represents the States & UTs (Union Territories) while the Lok Sabha represents the people of India.

President is not a member of either of the House (Rajya Sabha or the Lok Sabha) but still is an intergal part of the Parliament because :

A)  A bill passed by both the Houses of the Parliament requires President’s assent. Without his/her assent no bill can become a law.

B) President also performs vital actions like issues ordinances when Parliament is not in session, summons the Houses, pro-rogues the Houses, dissolves the Lok Sabha (Rajya Sabha is a permanent House & is not dissolved), addresses both the Houses, etc.

So, President is an intergal part of the Parliament.
